Site Communications Lead – Holly Springs

We are seeking an experienced communications leader to join our Global Communications team as Site Communications Lead – Holly Springs, a newly created role supporting our manufacturing site during a pivotal period of transformation.

The Role

This role provides dedicated, on‑site communications leadership, partnering closely with the Site Head, VP Manufacturing and Site Leadership Team. You will drive employee engagement, translate global strategy into local impact, and lead communications, reputation, and community engagement in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary communications partner to the Holly Springs Site Leadership Team
• Develop and deliver an integrated site communications strategy aligned with global CSL Seqirus frameworks
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including town halls, leadership forums, and site visits
• Strengthen site reputation through local media relations, community engagement, and external partnerships
• Lead site‑level issues and crisis communications in coordination with global teams
• Ensure high‑quality, compliant content across internal and external channels
• Use insights and metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness

About You

You are a confident, credible advisor who thrives in complex, fast‑paced, and regulated environments.

You'll bring:

• A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (postgraduate qualification desirable)
• 7+ years' experience across internal and external communications, ideally in manufacturing, pharma, biotech, or similarly regulated industries
• Proven experience advising senior leaders in matrixed organizations
• Strong capability in change, issues, and crisis communications
• Exceptional writing, editorial judgment, and stakeholder‑management skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or closely related field; MBA or Master in Communications a plus
• 8+ years' communications experience including communications program/people management, in product or corporate communications/ public relations
• Experience leading communications for manufacturing, R&D, or operational sites in US
• Experience managing communications/teams within a global environment
• Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Ability to create end-to-end compelling content
• Demonstrated ability to be effective in a highly matrixed organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
• Creative vision and a passion for storytelling, with a keen eye for detail and quality
• Strong stakeholder management
• Expertise in change management communications within complex, multinational environments.
• Willingness to travel to other company sites within CSL globally.
