About Position

As a Simulation Engineer you will execute structural analysis of various connection systems products using Abaqus/ANSYS software and give recommendation to the product engineer for product optimization. You have to work closely with product engineers and collaborate with the team in delivering qualitative analysis reports and recommendations on time.

Job responsibilities

  • Able to Conduct static, transient, linear, nonlinear, modal, harmonic, random, Shock, drop & structural analysis using ABAQUS/ANSYS Solvers.

  • Generation of finite element models for ABAQUS/ANSYS Solvers, including assembly, definition of boundary conditions and quality checks.

  • Perform Post-processing, result interpretation and verification of Finite Element Analysis results using hand calculation and other analytical methods.

  • Generate reports and discuss with product engineers on the results and share recommendations. Continuously collaborate with product engineer to ensure the expected product optimization achieved.

  • Ensure the delivery of the reports on time in order to meet the product optimization deadlines.

  • Continuously work on project execution efficiency and effectiveness improvements.

Your background

  • Qualified with Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile / Mechatronics Engineering; Masters in Engineering Design

  • Minimum 3 or more years’ experience in automotive structural analysis domain

  • Hands on skills in structural analysis using Abaqus/Ansys software.

  • Proven skills in Automotive connector / Automotive Product validation

  • Stronger foundation in Plastic material properties, Solid Mechanics, Strength of Material & Mechanical Vibrations.

  • Competence in manufacturing feasibility skills and its application.
