As a Signal Integrity Engineer, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-speed and complex solutions for Intel's cutting-edge platforms, boards, and packages. Your contributions will directly impact the design and optimization of next-generation interconnects, enabling industry-leading performance and reliability for Intel products. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, implement, and enhance signal integrity design strategies, ensuring robust solutions that meet quality, cost, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement signal integrity solutions for high-speed platforms, boards, and packages, including 2D and 3D model extractions of electrical structures for dietodie interconnects. - Define signal integrity rules and review design implementations to ensure compliance. - Perform simulations of interconnects to optimize design margins and guide package and platform-level physical implementations. - Design and characterize test structures to correlate simulations and measurements using high-speed equipment. - Debug signal integrity challenges, providing analysis and solutions to improve performance. - Develop electrical specifications and contribute to the creation of new industry-standard interconnect specifications. - Document and deliver characterization, measurement reports, and implementation guidelines as part of the platform design guide. - Collaborate with IP design teams and silicon integration teams to ensure optimal SoC and platform-level solutions, addressing issues such as attenuation, crosstalk, jitter, power noise, and cost.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 0-1 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in signal integrity solutions or equivalent practical experience. - Proficiency in 3D modeling and simulation tools for signal integrity analysis. - Knowledge of signal and power integrity principles and methodologies. - Familiarity with analog/mixed signal testing techniques. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with high-speed equipment for testing and debugging signal integrity issues. - Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence industry standards.
