Boeing Distribution Services III LimitedBoeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business, is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Specialist in Burgess Hill, UK.
Your core tasks will include:
Incoming goods inspection and booking, including document processing.
Storing and removing goods from storage.
Picking fasteners, small components, and various chemicals and hazardous goods for use in the aerospace industry.
Consolidating goods and packaging according to the individual requirements of each customer.
Packaging in accordance with IATA and ICAO regulations.
Conducting regular inventories and measures to ensure compliance with all quality standards.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Alternatively, you have at least 1–2 years’ experience in a comparable role within the warehouse/logistics sector.
You are fluent in English in writing and speaking.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
You have successfully completed any form of vocational training in a similar field or industry.
You are familiar with standard software and common enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (experience with SAP is an advantage).
A forklift certification and knowledge of IATA and ICAO regulations are desirable.
You have basic computer skills.
You are open to challenges, enthusiastic and impress with constructive solutions, motivation and the ability to work independently.
