About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Lead to support our distribution center operations. In this role, you will lead daily quality control activities, perform audits, resolve discrepancies, and help ensure our customers receive accurate, damage-free orders. You will also provide training and guidance to team members while partnering with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily QC inspections for outbound, and inventory workflows.
  • Audit orders, investigate discrepancies, and document findings.
  • Perform cycle counts and support root-cause analysis on quality issues.
  • Train and support warehouse associates on QC standards and SOPs.
  • Communicate quality concerns to operations, inventory control, and customer service teams.
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and enhance service performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, quality control, or inventory control.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Experience using ERP and WMS systems and quality documentation processes.
  • Ability to lead peers and provide training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Background in plumbing, HVAC, building materials, or similar distribution industries.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or quality-related certifications


Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job during the assigned work hours.
