Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily outbound shipments to customers, distribution centers, and third-party locations
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and export paperwork as required
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with approved carriers and freight forwarders
- Ensure shipments comply with company procedures, customer requirements, and domestic/international shipping regulations
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Communicate shipment details and issues with customer service, warehouse, production, and planning teams
- Accurately enter and maintain shipping data in ERP/WMS systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics or supply chain preferred
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation methods (LTL, FTL, parcel, international)
- Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
