We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused to join our Logistics / Operations team in Ayr. In this junior role, you will support the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, working closely with the Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor and Operations Manager. If you enjoy a varied, hands‑on position in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in accuracy and organisation, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career in logistics.
Prepare, pack, and label outbound customer orders to required standards, ensuring accuracy and quality before dispatch.
Generate shipping labels, manifests, invoices, and other shipping documentation, and maintain accurate records in systems or spreadsheets.
Coordinate courier collections and bookings, monitor shipment tracking, and escalate any issues as required.
Receive and check incoming goods, verifying quantities and condition against delivery documentation and updating systems accordingly.
Store goods in designated warehouse locations, support stock movements and replenishment, and assist with regular stock counts and audits.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised shipping and warehouse environment, including helping manage packaging materials, labels, and related supplies.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, organisation, and following established processes.
Basic IT skills, including use of email, spreadsheets, and label/shipping systems.
Ability to work in a physical, fast‑paced environment, including manual handling tasks, while meeting deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
A responsible approach to health and safety and adherence to company procedures and standards.
A full‑time, junior position within a busy Logistics / Operations department.
