Role Overview:
The Financial Analyst will support the reconciliation processes across global banking operations. This role involves performing routine reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and assisting in maintaining data integrity. The analyst will work closely with senior team members and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations under supervision.
- Identify and report reconciliation breaks and exceptions.
- Update reconciliation systems with relevant entries.
- Assist in preparing daily reports on outstanding items.
Weekly Tasks:
- Review aged breaks and support resolution efforts.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist in root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Support compliance checks and control activities.
Monthly Tasks:
- Contribute to month-end reconciliation processes.
- Assist in preparing KPI/KRI reports.
- Support documentation for audit and regulatory reviews.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
0–2 years of experience in financial reconciliations, credit card acquiring or another financial institution
Familiarity with reconciliation systems (e.g., Blackline, Trintech) is a plus but not essential
Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of data tools is beneficial.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
