Efficient set-up and start-up: As a setter, you are responsible for the independent set-up of tools, machines and their peripherals, as well as the smooth start-up of injection moulding machines and other systems such as Arburg.
Process optimization and monitoring: You will continuously optimize and monitor production processes, finishing machines and other peripherals to ensure the highest efficiency and quality.
Quality control and documentation: By monitoring ongoing production and documenting the process flows, you will actively contribute to quality assurance.
Responsibility and collaboration in improvement projects: You will be responsible for the provision of materials and the required level of quality, while actively participating in improvement projects and measures such as Kaizen.
Troubleshooting and team support: In the event of disruptions during the shift, you'll be on hand to resolve them quickly and effectively, and support your team when needed.
Technical training and experience: Ideally, you have completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology or a comparable technical qualification. Career changers with technical vocational training are also welcome.
Expertise and experience: You have knowledge of manufacturing/production and experience in metal or plastics processing. You will also be familiar with the structure and functioning of forming and finishing machines.
Good-to-have
Safety awareness: You know the regulations for compliance with the applicable safety regulations and implement them conscientiously.
Communication skills: You have at least B1 level German language skills to communicate effectively with your team.
Lean skills are an advantage: Experience with lean methodologies is an advantage and shows your willingness to continuously improve.
