Position Summary:

The Field Operations Team represents Clayton Homes as the primary point of contact for customers and homeowners, delivering professional, world-class support. This team is composed of highly skilled individuals with expertise across multiple areas of construction, committed to excellence and driven by a servant mindset.

Field Operation Set Crews are responsible for the on-site installation of Clayton Homes nationwide, ensuring structural, mechanical, and cosmetic quality to the highest standards. Work is performed in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and under varying conditions, requiring adaptability, precision, and an unwavering dedication to creating exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Minor touch ups, adjustments, production defect resolution and fit / finish issues
  • Assist in the correction of customer critical situations.
  • General construction processes including leveling, blocking, shingling, plumbing, and siding with an eye for detail and customer service mindset.
  • Ensure quality of each home set, while maintaining a safe work environment for all crew members.

These teams will experience unique challenges in various geographical areas and be put in the position to accomplish tasks few in the industry ever have the opportunity to experience.

Requirements:

  • Prior construction / Manufactured Home installation experience preferred
  • Minimum high school education.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, showing initiative and a desire to learn / expand skillset.
  • Ability to work as a team.

Travel Requirements:

  • 100% Travel. Will be traveling within the entire Midwest region.
  • Will be staying overnight often throughout the week.
