As a Services Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and high‑quality execution of subsea services work scopes. Working within our Subsea & Surface Production Systems workshop, you will support customers through effective equipment maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and testing while ensuring full compliance with Baker Hughes processes and HSE standards.
As a Services Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all required JSAs, risk assessments, permits, and procedures are in place before job execution
- Completing sign‑off of procedures, reports, housekeeping, and time booking upon job completion
- Reporting faults in machinery, tooling, or equipment immediately to the appropriate stakeholders
- Identifying potential task‑related risks and communicating issues in line with HSE and quality standards
- Executing demobilization, refurbishment, mobilization, and pre‑load‑out checks on subsea equipment
- Maintaining, repairing, and testing subsea production equipment within the services product line
- Reading and interpreting drawings, BOMs, schematics, and technical procedures to execute work orders
- Performing hands‑on troubleshooting, refurbishment, and testing of subsea and topside equipment
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Have a master’s degree in Subsea Engineering (preferred)
- Have extensive hands‑on workshop or operations experience with subsea equipment
- Have experience working within Oil & Gas or a similar subsea engineering environment
- Have strong computer literacy including MS Office and relevant CAD tools
- Hands‑on subsea equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Have strong understanding of electro‑hydraulic control systems
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation
