ServiceNow Application Tester (Public Trust Required)

ICF is seeking a ServiceNow Application Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of ServiceNow platform solutions in a client‑facing, Agile delivery environment. This role focuses on validating configured and custom ServiceNow functionality, ensuring solutions meet documented requirements, and supporting high‑quality, reliable implementations across development and test environments.

Job Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF monitors employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses, and also prohibits personal VPN connections.

• You may be asked to work on the client site in Woodlawn, MD.
• Core work hours are 9am–3pm Eastern Time, with flexibility to start earlier or work later.

What You Will Do

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user‑acceptance testing (UAT) for ServiceNow platform solutions.
• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop clear and traceable test cases and test scenarios.
• Validate ServiceNow workflows, forms, scripts, integrations, and configurations across supported modules.
• Document test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution using established defect‑tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
• Support testing of workflows related to workplace requests, work orders, inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and approvals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT activities by coordinating with stakeholders, executing test scripts, and validating fixes.
• Contribute to test documentation, test summaries, and quality metrics.

What You Will Bring With You: Required Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance for enterprise applications.
• Experience testing ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience creating and executing test cases based on documented requirements.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum‑based delivery environments.
• Ability to clearly document defects, test results, and testing artifacts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting testing of physical security or facilities‑related solutions, including the SAFE suite of physical security applications and associated workflows and processes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience testing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and validating data flows between systems.
• Awareness of accessibility and usability requirements, including Section 508 considerations.
• Experience using Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67,355.00 - $114,503.00
