What You’ll Do:
The Pool Cleaning and Cooling Tower Technician is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and ensuring the efficient operation of swimming pools and cooling towers. This role involves routine inspections, chemical balancing, mechanical troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Some of the Things You’ll Do:
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, spas, and cooling towers, including inspecting and maintaining filtration systems, pumps, motors, and related equipment.
Test and balance water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, hardness, etc.) and address water quality issues as needed.
Conduct preventive, periodic, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues, including commercial dishwasher machines.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance activities, chemical usage, inspections, and monitoring of cleaning equipment performance.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency situations while ensuring an optimal customer experience before, during, and after service visits.
Collaborate with facility management to schedule maintenance and repairs.
Respond to customer enquiries regarding service agreements and related terms and conditions.
Identify and refer sales leads and customer feedback to support evolving customer needs.
Train customers on the features and proper use of purchased products.
What You’ll Bring to Us:
Experience in pool cleaning, water treatment, or cooling tower maintenance.
Knowledge of water chemistry and treatment processes.
Ability to operate and maintain pumps, filters, dosing systems, and cooling tower equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in outdoor conditions.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Class 3 Driving License (preferred but not required).
