The opportunity
At our competence center “Power Converter Solutions”, we have a leading position in the development, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of high-power electronic converters mainly for STATCOM and rail power supply systems. We also provide solutions for hydro pump stations and grid interties. With the help of our highly efficient converters, we contribute to the integration of renewable energies into the electrical grid of tomorrow and at the same time increase the overall system efficiency.
To strengthen the service team, we are looking for a highly motivated Project/Tender Specialist who will be key in successful sales, order and project handling of warranty and service projects. How you’ll make an impact
Lead and manage service and warranty projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success
Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and tools, fostering innovation and efficiency
Oversee service projects and multi-year contracts, acting as the primary contact for customer inquiries and support
Utilize SAP to process orders, plan, and monitor costs and deadlines, ensuring project milestones are met
Address warranty and quality issues with a hands-on approach, ensuring technical excellence
Drive the sales of service projects, preparing competitive quotations and tracking their progress
Collaborate with suppliers to request and manage offers, ensuring the best outcomes for projects
Your background
Bachelor’s or technical degree (FH/HF/TS), preferably in electrical engineering, with an experience in power electronics systems and/or control technology
Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of success
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate in a diverse environment
Proficiency in ERP and other relevant software solutions, particularly SAP in SD/CS, with a basic understanding of surrounding modules
Knowledge of contract, change, and claim management to navigate complex project requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to tackle challenges effectively
A hands-on mentality with a focus on customer satisfaction and achieving results
Motivation to make decisions, supported by a collaborative team spirit and strong leadership skills
Openness to learning and adjusting to changes, fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment
