The role in a nutshell:

Our mission is to ensure the commercial success of our product line “Satair Repair Services” by driving its growth and profitability. In this role you will have full ownership of our services, which cover the repair, lease & exchange of high-value aircraft structural parts (e.g. sharklets, flaps, slats, etc.). You will be responsible for developing, growing, and managing your product range while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders both within Airbus and with customers globally. Please note that this role will be located at Satair Hamburg - Fuhlsbüttel under an Airbus Operations GmbH contract.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Global Strategy Development: You'll be a key contributor to our global Repair Services strategy, defining how we can best serve our airline customers. This means ensuring we offer the right services from the right locations towards the right market

  • Project Ownership & Growth: Lead critical projects and initiatives that directly drive business growth, i.e. for regional footprint expansion, managing these projects from concept to completion

  • Marketing Leadership: Take our marketing efforts to the next level. You'll be responsible for developing and executing our marketing roadmap for the next years, which should effectively communicate our value proposition and accelerate our market presence

  • Identifying Opportunities: Act as a business development leader by proactively identifying new market opportunities, incl. benchmarking, analyzing trends, and creating robust business cases

  • Proposal Management for RfIs & RfPs: You will be responsible for coordinating with our wider repair organization to gather essential inputs and draft and submit attractive business proposals

Besides these areas, you will also be in charge of:

  • Service Development and Management: Own and lead the development of repair services for high-value aircraft parts, ensuring these services meet customer needs while driving profitability

  • Stakeholder Management: work cross-functionally with various departments, bringing together the necessary focal points from the wider Airbus & Satair organization (fellow Repair departments, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Planning, Supply Chain etc.)

  • Service Sales Support: Assist Satair Account Directors in promoting Satair Repair Services by analyzing data and conducting on-site meetings at airline customers & MROs

  • Financial analysis: Analyze & monitor the financial performance of your product range and implement strategies to achieve financial targets

Desired skills & experience:

  • Solid business background with strong analytical skills

  • Track record of project management experience paired with the ability to drive strategies / initiatives / projects from concept to completion

  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work across regions and functions

  • Experience in presenting towards higher management

  • Innovative thinking by independently developing solutions to existing challenges, and to drive continuous business improvement

  • Work experience within Procurement / Project Management / Contracts / Finance is a plus

This role will require regular travel within Europe and occasional travel worldwide, and as such you need to be able to travel accordingly.
