Service Engineer (Marine Services) (m/f/d)
As a Service Engineer at Flender, you use your professional and technical skills in an international setting, operating in different countries and cultures. Working from our Rotterdam office, you are assigned both local and international projects with great responsibility and the autonomy to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit in delivering value to our customers. The scope of the assignments varies from commissioning, inspection and maintenance to damage repair and troubleshooting.
Your responsibilities
commissioning, repair and maintenance service jobs on couplings/clutches and gear units in accordance with the requirements of our client and/or protocol
analyzing, evaluating and solving problems/deviations in operational systems
delivering a detailed technical evaluation report of the project
advising on spare parts and follow-up proposals
Your qualifications
a completed secondary vocational education (MBO level 4) in mechanical engineering or similar
willingness to travel and stay abroad for a few days to a few weeks, including weekends
good communication skills both written and verbal in Dutch and English
experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
driving license, category B
a high degree of autonomy
the ability of solving problems and a practical no-nonsense mentality
