We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Service Desk Technician to join our dynamic on site-team in Brussels.
As a Service Desk Technician at Verisure, you will serve as the initial point of contact for users seeking technical assistance. You will be responsible for providing support for a variety of IT-related issues, ensuring that our clients receive prompt and effective solutions. Your role will encompass troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing user accounts, and maintaining comprehensive IT documentation. On top of support, you will also work with supporting innovative projects that span multiple areas and help leverage your on-site presence.
You will be part of the team responsible for our Internal Service Desk. The team consists of 20 members in 8 different countries, and you will have a close collaboration across the teams. Your work will be done on site in Brussels but will support users spanning all our countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network problems.
Manage user accounts, including password resets and access permissions.
Document and track all support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Use available resources to resolve incidents (people, tools, and processes)
Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of IT systems and applications
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Service Desk Technician or in a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common software applications.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting and basic network concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English and either French or Dutch
