Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Desk Engineer – Monitoring & Support (Data Center) to join our Information Technology / Data Center Operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring data center infrastructure through specialized tools and providing comprehensive support to ensure uninterrupted service operations. You will serve as the essential first point of contact, managing the critical flow of information between our customers and technical teams to maintain operational continuity.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Responsibility 1: Monitor data center infrastructure using designated tools to identify and log alerts, incidents, and performance issues within the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system.

  • Responsibility 2: Collaborate with customers, technical teams, and management to coordinate communication and provide professional, timely updates on service resolutions.

  • Responsibility 3: Ensure compliance with data center policies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and security protocols while maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions and actions taken.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a high-stakes Data Center Operations or Service Desk environment.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) systems.

  • Proven Ability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize incidents effectively while maintaining professional communication under pressure.

  • Flexibility: Readiness to participate in essential shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties to support 24/7 operations.
