Service Delivery Manager – Custom Applications

Job Description:

Role Summary

As a Service Delivery Manager for Custom Applications at DXC, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of tailored software solutions to enterprise clients. You will manage client relationships, ensure service excellence, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary contact for clients regarding service-related matters.
    • Ensure delivery aligns with SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
  • Project & Service Oversight
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of custom applications, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
    • Coordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Manage escalations and proactively resolve delivery issues.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to ITIL practices and DXC’s delivery frameworks.
    • Maintain documentation and reporting for audits and internal reviews.
  • Team Leadership
    • Mentor and guide delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
    • Collaborate with global delivery centers and support distributed teams.
  • People Management
    • Define clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support career development of team members.
    • Promote engagement, motivation, and retention through effective leadership practices.
  • Financial Management (Revenue, AOP, TCV Growth)
    • Monitor and control budgets, ensuring alignment with annual operating plans (AOP).
    • Drive revenue growth and manage total contract value (TCV) through proactive financial oversight.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery or operations management.
  • Strong client management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • ITIL certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with custom application development and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience working in hybrid or remote delivery models.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
