THE JOB:
As a Bartender at Borgata, you will be responsible for having in-depth knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections while ensuring the bar maintains a clean and inviting appearance. Your friendly smile and exceptional service will set the stage for a memorable guest experience. By connecting with guests and understanding their unique stories and needs, you will take ownership of their experience, crafting WOW moments and lasting memories that they will cherish long after their visit.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available
Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Perform other job‐related duties as requested
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Required to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Preferred
2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in a bar or similar environment Preferred

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$19.00
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
