Job Description Summary
The Service Account Manager is responsible for driving service revenue growth and system upgrade sales across a portfolio of large corporate healthcare customers. This role owns the commercial management of service contracts, executive level relationships, and long term account profitability.
Success in this role requires strong commercial judgement, confidence engaging with C suite leaders and procurement stakeholders, and the ability to position service led upgrade solutions that align financial value, risk mitigation, and lifecycle optimisation.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Service revenue ownership & growth
- Own and deliver service revenue and margin targets for assigned region.
- Lead service contract renewals, expansions, and repricing discussions to maximise lifetime value
- Ensure pricing compliance and commercial discipline to protect profitability
- Manage and convert the service opportunity pipeline, maximising win rates and forecast accuracy
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and opportunity management through CRM tools
Corporate account & executive stakeholder management
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to revenue and growth objectives
- Build trusted relationships with C‑suite executives, senior commercial leaders, and procurement teams
- Position service agreements as strategic enablers of financial performance, risk reduction, and asset optimisation
- Lead executive business reviews, contract performance discussions, and commercial negotiations
- Act as the primary commercial owner for all service‑related engagements within assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, collaborating with equipment sales teams to strengthen account engagement.
System upgrades & lifecycle monetisation
- Collaborate with equipment team to identify and develop system upgrade opportunities within the installed base
- Drive lifecycle conversations focused on cost of ownership, operational continuity, and capital planning
- Lead upgrade proposals, tenders, and commercial submissions, including service scope and pricing
Contracting, tendering & commercial execution
- Lead end‑to‑end service contract negotiations in collaboration with legal and commercial stakeholders
- Support tender responses with commercially aligned service strategies and pricing structures
- Maintain high standards of order accuracy, configuration quality, and contractual compliance
- Own and resolve service contract-related customer queries in coordination with internal teams.
Market insight & Continuous improvement
- Collect and feedback market insights to Commercial Service Leader
- Drive continuous improvement across service sales processes, governance, and commercial rigour
- Ensure full compliance with quality, privacy, regulatory, and environmental policies
