The Opportunity:
CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a skilled Server/Systems Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud & virtualization and on premises server infrastructure. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining server and system architectures within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of server technologies, systems architecture principles, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server/system design, integration, and management. You’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.

Responsibilities:
Design and architect server and system solutions, including hardware, software, and network components
Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance
Ensure server/system architectures align with organizational standards, policies, and industry best practices
Integrate server/system solutions with other IT infrastructure components, such as network, security, and data systems
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of server/system solutions with existing technologies
Evaluate and recommend new server/system technologies and solutions to enhance system performance and capabilities
Oversee the implementation and deployment of server/system solutions, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments
Conduct testing and validation of server/system solutions to ensure functionality and reliability
Provide ongoing support for server/system solutions, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades
Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance server/system reliability and efficiency
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure server/system solutions align with business objectives
Facilitate communication between IT teams, project managers, and other relevant parties
Optimize resource utilization and implement scaling strategies to meet changing demands
Maintain accurate documentation of virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Prepare reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement
Troubleshoot complex problems and work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents
Provides daily supervision and direction to staff
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizen with Secret security clearance
Technical bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study (Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree - HS diploma or associates degree plus 15+ years of experience)
10+ years in virtualization technologies and cloud computing
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
In-depth knowledge of server technologies (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, VMware)
Strong understanding of systems architecture principles and practices.
Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT
Desired:
TS/SCI clearance
Additional certifications in server technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,900 - $239,500
