ACADEMIC FACULTY APPOINTMENT: The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine
The Senior/Lecturer, Medical Education, will work on the development, delivery and evaluation of the Years 1-2 curriculum of the NTU MBBS. The post holder will work in collaboration with Assistant Dean Years 1-2, Vice-Dean, Education, as well as the wider MBBS teams.
It is expected that this job will comprise a mix of education-related activities including, but not limited to: face-to-face teaching, curriculum and related assessment development and review, and curriculum quality assurance.

Job Purpose
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine has offered the independent NTU MBBS degree since AY2024-25. The NTU MBBS will keep the best of the Imperial College London (Imperial)-NTU degree and at the same time introduce enhancements to align with changes in healthcare and healthcare education nationally and globally.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities
Curriculum Delivery and Review
1. Working as part of a team to ensure smooth delivery of the NTU MBBS curriculum in Years 1-2
2. Oversee collaboration with module or vertical theme leads to:
Review learning outcomes and learning activities in the MBBS curriculum for Years 1-2
Review leaning and assessment materials/resources for students and faculty
Support module leads and content experts where necessary
3. Contribute to teaching as Content Expert
Experience in teaching anatomy or a background in medicine or surgery as a base for training for the experience will be prioritized
4. Contribute to supporting students

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
MBBS or PhD in Biomedical Science preferred
Experience of teaching anatomy to undergraduate medical students
Excellent communication skills
A keen interest in undergraduate medical education

The level of effort for this appointment is at 1.0 full time equivalent (FTE) employment.
