Role
The Senior Vice President will lead Mastercard Services Business Development across Eastern Europe, driving revenue growth and shaping the regional strategy. This executive role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence at the highest levels internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the regional Services strategy for Eastern Europe, aligning with global priorities and market dynamics.
• Revenue Ownership: Deliver against ambitious growth targets with full P&L accountability for the region.
• Executive Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to position Mastercard as a strategic partner.
• Market Development: Identify emerging trends and opportunities across Eastern Europe, ensuring Mastercard Services remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of senior leaders and business development professionals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, Advisors Consulting, and Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery and revenue realization.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Mastercard Services in industry forums and client engagements as a recognized expert and influencer.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to Mastercard’s standards and regulatory requirements across all markets.
All About You
• Experience in strategy consulting at a senior leadership level, ideally within financial services or payments.
• Extensive experience in executive-level business development, consulting, or solution selling.
• Proven track record of leading large teams and delivering significant revenue growth across multiple markets.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
• Deep understanding of Mastercard Services’ value propositions and ability to articulate them to senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with boards and C-suite executives.
• P&L management experience and strong financial acumen.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and drive alignment across global and regional priorities.
• Fluency in English; additional Eastern European languages preferred.
