The Opportunity

The Global Head of Core Operations is the architect of EQ’s operational backbone, responsible for orchestrating complex, high-volume processes that underpin shareholder services worldwide. This leader ensures seamless execution of transfers, legal documentation, bereavement, mandates, tax operations, investment operations, dissenters’ processes, corporate actions, and proxy tabulation. By championing regulatory compliance and process optimization, this role drives operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across diverse teams and geographies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee global operational processes and strategies, ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Develop and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures
  • Lead and mentor regional operations managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements through automation and process optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and operational metrics
  • Identify and mitigate risks in operational processes
  • Manage global supply chain and logistics operations
  • Foster continuous improvement and innovation across all levels of the organization

Job Specifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred

Relevant Experience

Significant experience in operations management, with demonstrable experience in a senior global leadership role in fintech or financial services.
