The Senior UX Designer  will contribute to our XDR department.


About the Role: 
It’s an exciting time for the UX Team at Arctic Wolf. The company is growing and we need great people to join our UX Team. We work in multi-disciplinary teams of UX Researchers & Designers, Software Developers and Product Managers to create solutions that delight our customers. We are passionate about creating intuitive, time-saving, and beautiful user & customer experiences and we’re looking for someone to join our team and help fulfil our mission.

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for being an advocate for our end users and helping build user interfaces and experiences that solve user problems and produce measurable UX outcomes. You will collaborate with Agile development teams to implement solutions and work through constraints. As a Sr. UX Designer you will plan, design, and facilitate effective UX projects and help development teams execute designs by participating in all phases of the design process from concept, to prototype, to production.

Responsibilities Include:
•    Lead team members in Product Management, Development, and Security Services to understand & deliver the key features identified in the Product Team roadmaps
•    Collaborate with UX Researchers on research methods and conduct your own research activities to gain insight and feedback from end users.
•    Create as-is and to-be user journeys, information architecture maps, and user task-flows to document problems, capture opportunities to improve, and communicate solutions
•    Design AI enhanced and augmented cybersecurity features / functions that deliver ideal functional allocation of tasks among humans and AI agents, and leverage the latest best practices and techniques for AI-driven user experiences
•    Collaborate with Product Management and Agile Development teams to plan, design and build features, usability updates and new product ideas.
•    Design and prototype highly interactive experience concepts, using the latest AI tooling to iterate quickly, based on reviews and customer feedback.
•    Seek out the most relevant and insightful feedback based on the needs of the project to improve designs and validate assumptions.
•    Contribute to Arctic Wolf Design Guidelines, Design Principles and Design System.
•    Coach fellow UX team members working in an agile development environment and facilitate collaboration with cross-functional roles.

While innovation is the focus, some of these ideas do make it into our products.

About You
•    You have experience as a UX Designer, including experience applying multiple user-centered design methods to solve user problems.
•    You understand Web Accessibility and have a solid understanding WCAG guidelines and levels.
•    You can model individual persona task-flows and workflows from the perspective of multiple personas.
•    You have designed for complex Information Architecture and UI patterns to support navigation in both desktop and mobile.
•    You are deeply familiar with common HCI principles and heuristics.
•    You have experience doing in-person and remote research techniques such as in-person discussions, remote interviews, remote testing, recording and online collaboration sessions.
•    You have some familiarity with AI tools, e.g. Figma Make, Claude Code or Cowork, Co-pilot, and you’re excited about using AI to accelerate the pace and quality of UX deliverables and measurable outcomes.
•    You have some familiarity with service design principles and methodologies, e.g. service blueprints, and a basic understanding of human factors fundamentals.
Prior team leadership and/or management experience is a plus but not required. Previous experience working in the cybersecurity domain is preferred but not required. We provide cybersecurity training during onboarding and via on-the-job training.
