The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Total Rewards Manager to join our Business Unit (BU) Total Rewards Partner Team organization to lead a new Total Rewards Data Analytics & Project Management Team in Seattle, WA; El Segundo, CA; Mesa, AZ; Chicago, IL; Berkeley, MO; Plano, TX; San Antonio, TX; Huntsville, AL; North Charleston, SC; or Arlington, VA.

In this role, you will lead a team to partner across Total Rewards functions (Compensation, Executive Compensation, and Benefits – as needed) and across Business Unit Total Rewards Partner Team (including BCA, BDS, BGS, ET&T, and Corporate Functions) and Total Rewards leadership team, as needed. 

This role will be focused on collaborating across key stakeholders to develop and execute a variety of enterprise-wide and/or business unit strategic initiatives.  This will include supporting business growth, advancing Total Rewards objectives, and building strong employee engagement through data analysis and solutions, strategy development, and execution via project management. Examples include assessing internal and external data and insights, reviewing impacts across financial, compliance, and labor/bargaining considerations and developing recommendations that balance short and long-term considerations while driving common methodologies, standards, and approaches across a variety of stakeholders. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Engage across all areas of Total Rewards and across a variety of strategic initiatives – including Compensation, Executive Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Collaborate across functions and stakeholders to identify, develop, and scale Total Rewards solutions across Business, Human Resources, and Total Rewards teams.
  • Influence approaches and outcomes within plan design, operations, and engagement phases by aligning short and long-term objectives, assessing implications, and developing consistent approaches that drive impact.
  • Responsible for leading a team of direct reports of Total Rewards specialist on key objectives of team using agile team approaches focused on data, analysis, strategy, and execution.
  • Lead and direct work initiatives and projects within team and cross-functional partners, as needed.
  • Consult on key aspects on Total Rewards design and outcomes leveraging data insights and subject matter expertise.
  • Engage across key stakeholders and Total Rewards leaders to advocate, communicate, educate, and train Total Rewards Partners, HR, and Business stakeholders on strategy and processes.
  • Data analytics responsibilities include assessing data needs, establishing an analysis methodology, leveraging internal/external data sources, and considering key dynamics and anticipated outcomes.
  • Analysis outcomes designed to provide meaningful insights, deliver key metrics and trends to influence Total Rewards strategy and execution.
  • Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving.
  • Design methodologies, models, dashboards, metrics, and reports to standardize and scale approaches across the enterprise.
  • Engage in project management for certain projects to identify key deliverables, timelines, and milestones for success.
  • Educate and activate Total Rewards teams and key partners on strategic changes including readiness materials, key actions and dates, and experiences.

 Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 15+ years of experience in Total Rewards - Compensation and/or Benefits
  • 15+ years of Total Rewards analytics experiences including data and/or financial modeling.
  • 10+ years of experience leading teams
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery
  • Experience building intuitive and actionable dashboards and data visualizations that drive business decisions
  • Experience in the development, communication, facilitation, or support of compensation, benefits and/or total rewards programs
  • Experience with compensation, classification, and salary systems
  • Experience in leading projects across functions and leadership levels
  • Experience with advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Certified Compensation Profession (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBA) designation, Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP or similar
  • Ability to quickly learn Tableau, Power BI, and/or other data programs
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide Compensation and Benefits strategy development, execution and/or change management

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $170,000 - $246,100
