A Strategic Technology Partner Driving High Impact Delivery Across Humana
At Humana, a Fortune 100 healthcare technology innovator, we are reshaping how millions of people experience care. Our Senior Technology Leaders operate at the intersection of technology strategy, delivery excellence, and cross-functional leadership. This hybrid role blends technical consulting, program leadership, and hands on solution oversight to ensure successful delivery of complex, business critical technology initiatives.
If you excel at navigating ambiguity, building alignment, and leading teams toward high-quality outcomes—while still bringing strong technical depth—this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do

Lead Cross‑Functional Technology Delivery

  • Drive end‑to‑end planning and execution of complex technology initiatives, aligning engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions.

Serve as a Technical Consultant & Trusted Advisor

  • Assess systems, architectures, and processes; identify modernization and optimization opportunities; and provide actionable recommendations that influence technical and business strategy.

Ensure Quality, Performance & Operational Readiness

  • Oversee validation, testing, integration, and deployment readiness, ensuring solutions meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements before production launch.

Guide Issue Resolution & Technical Problem‑Solving

  • Partner with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts that protect system stability and business continuity.

Align Delivery Teams & Stakeholders

  • Facilitate communication across engineering, operations, product, and business leadership—ensuring risks, dependencies, and decisions are surfaced clearly and managed effectively.

Promote Delivery Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and refine delivery processes, documentation standards, and best practices that elevate execution quality across teams and programs.

Who You Are

You thrive in roles that require both technical fluency and strong leadership presence. You enjoy:

  • Translating technical complexity for business stakeholders
  • Supporting engineering teams with clarity, structure, and decision‑making
  • Leading large or multi-team initiatives with strong organizational skills
  • Identifying risks early and driving proactive mitigation
  • Bringing order to technical ambiguity
  • Influencing strategy through thoughtful recommendations and insight

You’re equally comfortable in roadmap discussions, architecture conversations, and issue‑triage huddles—and you bring a calm, structured approach to fast-moving environments.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology roles, such as software engineering, systems engineering, technical consulting, solution delivery, or similar
  • Hands‑on experience with the technologies in use within enterprise applications or infrastructure

  • Experience with unit testing, mocking, or validating modern software components
  • A passion for improving technology through thoughtful leadership

Preferred Qualifications
