What You’ll Do

  • As a key expert and primary point of contact for manufacturing technologies and processes within your area of specialization, you play a strategic role in driving technological excellence, process robustness, and continuous improvement across the site. 

  • Be Responsible of, and act as Subject Matter Expert for Manufacturing Technologies/process in your area of expertise with all associated equipment. 

  • Ensure Technologies performance and manage equipment/Process Life cycle management in your area. 

  • Define and lead implementation of Equipment and technology roadmap in your area of expertise to improve process performance. 

  • Lead new equipment or technology implementation in production from specification to validation. 

  • In charge of supporting manufacturing in troubleshooting in case of complex technical issues. 

  • In charge of Implementing data driven process control methodologies for manufacturing equipment and associated processes. 

  • Support Tech Transfer projects acting as Technology SME in your area of expertise 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, global MS&T teams, and other manufacturing sites to ensure effective knowledge sharing. 

  • Provide scientific insights during internal and external audits and inspections. 

Who You are:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering science or related program with 8+ years of relevant experience. 

  • Verbal and written communications skills in both English and French 

  • Proven expertise, chromatography, and filtration processing equipment and operations used to manufacture biotherapeutics. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional investigations and manage complex technical challenges. 

  • Proven knowledge of cGMP requirements (commercial site experience is a plus). 

  • Technical support and troubleshooting for critical manufacturing operations during Engineering and GMP processing. 

  • Hands-on experience with single use flow path operations and disposable-based manufacturing technologies, from bench to commercial scale. 

  • Experience with equipment commissioning, qualification and with Process validation activities. 

  • Applies knowledge to solve complex technical problems; may apply a novel approach that provides significant technology advancement. 

  • Familiar with Continuous Improvement approach and methodologies (i.e. RCA, DMAIC…). 

  • Operation in process control systems and development of automation recipes. 

  • Ability to organize, analyze/interpret, and effectively communicate data. 

  • Authoring technical and quality documentation within GMP systems. 

  • Execute process and equipment risk assessments using industry-standard tools (e.g. FMEA). 

  • Good interpersonal, team, and collaborative skills are a must. 

  • Can work independently and in project teams; significant contributor to multi-disciplinary teams at the functional level. 

  • Ability to navigate global regulatory CMC documents. 

  • Experience with process analytical technology implementation and continued process monitoring.
