We are looking for a Senior Technical Trainer to join our team in Tokyo. Reporting to the Manager, Technical Training, you will be responsible for:

  • Instructing Zscaler technical courseware and certifications both online and in the classroom while employing effective instructional techniques.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Zscaler training environments, including Zero Trust Exchange Platform and Cloud Protection solutions, as well as general network services and devices.
  • Managing remote training labs and pods, maintaining operational efficiency and troubleshooting issues.
  • Working as subject matter expert for the content and certification teams
  • Maintaining class rosters, attendance, and collecting feedback surveys.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 

  • 5+ years of technical training experience in network security, cloud, or SaaS technologies.
  • Rapidly adapt to new products and technologies in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to provide feedback for the course development process and the ability to create hands-on training materials.
  • Experience delivering to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Fluent in Japanese (N1 proficiency preferred) with a strong understanding of English (B2/C1 equivalent or min of 800 TOEIC score) to effectively interpret complex technical documentation and collaborate seamlessly with a global team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related major with a minor in communications or equivalent certifications.
