As a Senior Technical Sourcing Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the procurement of products and services, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards to support organizational goals. Provides essential support to AT&T’s Global Carrier Management (GCM) for voice services, encompassing both domestic and international operations. Utilizes innovative technologies and automation opportunities to streamline organizational operations and improve overall efficiency.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:
Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and automation, to support organizational goals
Lead and oversee strategic technical sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards through supplier rationalization and selection
Collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Network Engineering, Product, and Finance teams. Manage GCM Development Project budget
Contract Negotiation and Compliance:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with security controls and contractual obligations
Performance Monitoring and Client Satisfaction:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements for both internal and external partners
Use client satisfaction surveys and project monitoring to resolve issues and measure success
Supplier Relationship Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships with technical suppliers, oversee supplier performance evaluations, and partner with other business units to align sourcing activities with business objectives
Work closely with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with technology needs, provide cost analysis support, and facilitate technology adoption
Optimize Costs and Manage Risks:
Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize procurement costs, and manage risks associated with technology sourcing to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues
Desired Technical Experience:
Experience using Power BI reporting, Power query, M language and dataset manipulation.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint online sites and lists
Job Contribution:

Our Senior Technical Sourcing Management earns between $96,000 - $144,000 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
