Senior Technical Program Manager, System Integration and Test - Autonomous Vehicles

We are looking for a creative and experienced Program Manager to help us bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to productize ground-breaking solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. As a key member, you will be a key leader responsible for the managing the software development of our autonomous driving software stack. NVIDIA gives automakers, Tier 1 suppliers, automotive research institutions, and start-ups the power and flexibility to develop and deploy breakthrough artificial intelligence systems for self-driving vehicles. Today, we are working with over 270 partners that are using our platform in the development of autonomous cars, trucks, shuttles and taxis.

What you'll be doing:

  • Direct and drive key initiatives vital to complete several projects within the AV Fleet. These initiatives range from driving org level optimizations to scaling out AV testing.

  • Analyze & diagnose the underlying events contributing to these metrics, identify trends, and resolve top priority engineering work for improving the platform experience.

  • Drive implementation and/or recommend improvements across features and across the stack, in collaboration with the corresponding component engineering teams.

  • Scale out this iterative development process by developing more automation and leveraging from current operational teams/resources.

  • Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.

What we need to see:

  • BS/MS Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years recent Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products.

  • Experience handling at least few successful releases with the short release cadence in a dynamic environment.

  • You have a consistent record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects, driving process improvements. We want to leverage your extensive experience in scaling out AV integration and testing.

  • Shown ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Previous experience with Automotive system integration and/or AV operations

  • Background with data driven operations and defining/managing operational metrics. Understanding what makes a good/bad metric and how to drive an organization using those metrics.

  • Experience in optimally leading global projects across time zones

  • Experience with early stage development and building out the processes and tooling.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 258,750 USD.
