Senior Technical Manager - Assistant Vice President - Corporate Web Services - IT

Job Summary:

IT Listing and Corporate Systems department is responsible for the implementation, development and support of multiple corporate wide systems including our ongoing AI based initiatives, our external Websites and Intranet. We partner and collaborate with the systems infrastructure and information security teams to ensure high service level and systems availability are provided to our internal corporate divisions.

Job Duties:

The incumbent will be responsible for application development and technical support of HKEX systems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with different technical teams, vendors and business users for development and production support of corporate systems and websites. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system BAU activities including user requirement analysis, systems support, and documentation update

• Provide production maintenance and support including regular patch management, security scanning, vulnerability risk assessments and implement mitigation measures 

• Design technical solutions and prepare specifications for internal developers

• Ensure all HKEX standards are met by conducting regular code scan on developed applications / workflows / components

• Participate and make contributions to new system implementation as a technical SME

• Provide UAT support to business users during new system implementation

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines

• Proven minimum 7 years hands-on software development and testing support experience

• Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, SQL syntax

• Strong proficiency in data structure and algorithm

• Good understanding of Microsoft Power Platform technologies (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse… etc.)

• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Servers

• Knowledge in developing web applications such as React.js, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, XML, REST API… etc.

• Hands-on experience in M365 SharePoint Online, Nintex and Powell is preferable

• Experience in deploying and managing cloud native applications would be a plus

• Knowledge in AI technologies would be a definite advantage but not mandatory

• Experience in financial services industry or other highly regulated organizations is preferred while not essential 

• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
