Senior Technical Architect
We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Technical Architect at Marsh, you will lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable, and secure software architectures across multiple initiatives. You will also will collaborate closely across Technology and Operating Company IT teams, driving innovation while upholding the highest standards of integrity and service excellence.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures aligned with business goals and enterprise standards.
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Oversee the integration and orchestration of AI agents and AI-driven systems, ensuring operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and internal clients to define technical requirements and deliver successful projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct architectural reviews and enforce best practices in software development, integration, security, and infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for security best practices, data protection, and compliance throughout the software lifecycle.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, multi-cloud) and cloud-native architecture.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable being 80% hands-on while maintaining architectural vision
- Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
- Proficient in modern technology stacks including Node.js, Angular, React, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, and APIs.
- Advanced Level of English is a Must
