What’s the role?

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Platform and Adobe Experience tools, positioned between Data Engineering and Analytics/Implementation Engineering. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, data orchestration, and digital data collection frameworks to support advanced analytics, personalization, and customer journey use cases. You will work closely with analytics, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable data flows across platforms.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Launch, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), along with a solid foundation in JavaScript, databases, and core data engineering concepts. Hands-on experience implementing website tagging and tracking solutions is essential.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, supporting high-quality analytics implementations and data-driven decision-making.

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data orchestration workflows that support analytics, personalization, and marketing use cases.
  • Implement, configure, and support Adobe Experience tools including Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Launch, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Support and enhance Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementations, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, transformation, and activation across channels.
  • Implement and maintain website data collection and tagging solutions using Adobe Launch and other tag management tools when applicable.
  • Use JavaScript to support tagging, tracking logic, and custom data collection requirements.
  • Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems, platforms, and data sources.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot data flows to identify gaps, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with analytics, engineering, and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
  • Support integrations between Adobe tools and third-party systems and platforms.
  • Document data architectures, tracking plans, data models, and implementation standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering, analytics, and implementation best practices.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience tools, specifically Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Launch, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
  • Solid experience working with JavaScript for website tagging, tracking, and data collection implementations.
  • Strong database experience and understanding of data storage, data modeling, and querying concepts.
  • Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and managing data ingestion and activation workflows.
  • Strong background in data engineering concepts including data structures, data pipelines, data orchestration, and data movement.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing website tagging and tracking solutions.
  • A hybrid background combining data engineering and analytics or implementation engineering experience.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico and Hawaii.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
