Badger Meter is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s energized by the challenge of finding exceptional talent in competitive technical and engineering markets. What You’ll Do
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, role requirements, and long-term talent priorities.
Design and execute tailored recruiting strategies for technical, engineering, and corporate roles.
Proactively source passive candidates through social platforms, networks, career sites, and industry channels.
Conduct thoughtful pre-screening conversations to evaluate skills, experience, and organizational fit.
Communicate Badger Meter’s employee value proposition and highlight what makes us a standout employer.
Craft and extend offer letters to selected candidates.
Lead or contribute to talent acquisition initiatives such as employer branding, process optimization, and candidate experience enhancements.
Build strong, lasting relationships with candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and engaging hiring journey.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and market challenges to inform hiring strategies.
Represent Badger Meter at career fairs, community events, and workforce development programs.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally with a focus on technical or engineering recruitment
Skills & Expertise
Advanced interviewing skills across phone, video, and structured formats
Strong sourcing capabilities, including LinkedIn Recruiter and social platforms
Proven ability to assess candidate experience, motivation, and cultural alignment
Experience developing creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles
Demonstrated success advising hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle
