Senior Systems Operations Analyst (Technical Operations)

As a fixed-term (18 months) Senior Systems Operations Analyst you will be responsible for daily technical operations including monitoring and support for many of Nasdaq-provided services, handling incidents for both internal and external customers, working on operational process and procedure improvements. Our team’s main responsibilities are to provide active 24/7 Technical Operations surveillance and support Major Incident Management process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform real-time monitoring of systems for software/hardware errors, failures and capacity issues; investigate, diagnose and bring up the issues to senior associates
• Follow procedures for startup, shutdown and recovery of core systems; supervise batch processes
• Address order entry and market data connectivity issues with clients, exchanges, market centers and network providers
• Review system capabilities, department workflow and scheduling requirements
• Perform recovery procedures, scheduling and backups; get involved into resolution when needed

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related IT experience
• Experience in working with System administration, Network, Application operations or related areas
• You have a drive and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high pressure, goal-oriented environment
• Good social skills and strong communicative ability in English, both verbally and in writing

This position will be located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
