As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping complex systems from concept to delivery, collaborating with top-tier engineering teams and contributing to projects that make a real difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Apply sound Systems Engineering principles across the full lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage requirements for systems, subsystems, and components.
  • Support system reviews (SDR, PDR, DDR, TRR) and prepare technical briefing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, change management, and documentation processes.
  • Manage interface design descriptions for internal and external systems.
  • Oversee integration, validation, and verification activities.
  • Review OEM documentation and subcontract deliverables for compliance.
  • Develop and review acceptance test procedures and reports.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Requirements Management.
  • Strong understanding of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle and tools like DOORS NG.
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, transport, or similar regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to manage V&V programs and apply military/commercial standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with adaptability and a proactive mindset.

Bonus Skills

  • Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or National Engineering Register (NER) accreditation.
  • Knowledge of V&V Engineering, ILS Engineering, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Awareness of whole-system design issues (environmental, EMC, safety, human factors).
