We, the Windows DevOps & Test Labs (WDTL) team, are looking for a Senior System Software Engineer. As part of this you will be working on crafting/implementing automation tools/tests infrastructure which helps to deliver high quality Nvidia driver to end users. Work with a team of highly qualified engineers whose mission is to achieve the best possible results for the current and future generations of graphics hardware. What you'll be doing:
Build, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure to efficiently run various DirectX workloads.
Support the bringing up of next-generation RTX GPUs on the Windows operating system.
Support the bringing up of newer windows releases, identifying and resolving issues with new Windows operating systems early in the cycle, collaborating with partners for successful implementation.
Improve automated monitoring systems to supervise the status of critical systems and dependencies, respond to alerts, and drive resolution while working with other teams.
Analyze large datasets to derive insights and build visualizations, redefining raw data into a usable format for developers.
Collaborate with internal DirectX developers to identify and implement features in automation that help them quickly debug and isolate issues.
Understand existing infrastructure, debug issues in current frameworks, and identify performance bottlenecks, improving efficiency through new technology integration.
Develop, deploy, and sustain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment, ensuring flawless integration with development teams.
What we need to see:
B.Tech or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with background in algorithms/data structures and capacity to multitask optimally in a dynamic environment.
Confirmed experience as a developer includes at least 4 years of proficiency in application development using C#, Java, or another programming language. You should also have exposure to at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, or PHP.
Experience with databases and SQL, along with proven understanding of source control systems and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with management and engineering teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience in constructing durable backend automation systems, with applied experience working alongside databases and implementing visualization interfaces on platforms such as Grafana or Kibana.
Familiarity with time series databases, MongoDB, and similar technologies.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
