About your team

Fidelity International’s Global Procurement function provides Source to Pay and Third-Party Risk Management services to FIL colleagues globally. It comprises approximately 100 colleagues, based across UK, India, Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific, overseeing spend of ~$900m in 26 countries.

The existing SRM function is established to ensure alignment and a drive best practice supplier relationship management across all FIL supplier management activity globally. The SRM will demonstrate behaviours which meet FIL’s core values, evidence an ability to work collaboratively across FIL, and role model leadership on key programmes such as ESG.

About your role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) to lead the governance, performance management, and strategic alignment of key supplier relationships. This role is pivotal in unlocking value from third-party engagements, ensuring adherence to both regulatory requirements and internal policies, and cultivating long-term partnerships that align with the firms overarching strategic objectives.

The SRM will ensure that business stakeholders manage suppliers in line with risk appetite, optimising post-contract value, and developing a transparently sustainable supply base. The role holder will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders from across FIL to establish broad internal stakeholder relationships, drive value from, and manage risk across the supplier portfolio. These stakeholders include but are not limited to: Senior executives; Supplier Relationship Managers (SRMs); Supplier Risk Oversight (Procurement 2LoD function); Senior Procurement Category leaders; as well as risk and compliance partners across FIL. Working with product owners in Technology, the SRM will define and execute comprehensive supplier strategies—spanning commercial, contractual, and risk dimensions for their assigned portfolio. They will ensure all relevant contractual obligations, Procurement policy requirements, and business unit objectives are met, documented, and consistently reinforced through structured governance and engagement routines.

About you

You are a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage technical supplier relationships in a complex, regulated environment. You bring strong commercial acumen, and a collaborative mindset to foster partnerships that deliver measurable business value. You are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including suppliers’ executive leadership, and have a passion for driving performance, mitigating risk, and ensuring excellence in delivery.

You should also have:

  • Previous experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager is essential, with at least 3 years SRM FS experience working with Technology suppliers
  • It is desirable for the role holder to have sound knowledge of key global regulations pertaining to Outsourcing and controls
  • An understanding of software licencing models (SaaS, subscription, per-seat, consumption-based)
  • Knowledge of cloud commercial frameworks (AWS, Azure)
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business impacts
  • Understanding of emerging tech trends (AI, cloud-native, automation)
  • Commercial awareness and ability to partner with Procurement to negotiate fees and contracts
  • A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to establish rapport, communicate and influence at all levels of seniority
  • Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Self-driven and resilient in managing competing priorities, navigating ambiguity and overcoming obstacles
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to champion change
  • Experience of working within an Enterprise Risk Management framework model, with knowledge of the 3LoD model
