Job Description:

The Role: 

We are seeking an accountable logistics professional to support operations at our Jangan plant and Suwon. This role will be responsible for the end to end logistics process in Korea including global transportation, 3PL management and customs related activities in Korea 

In this role you will:  

  • Oversee of the distribution of finished goods from the manufacturing plant to customers or internal stock transfer(STO) by collaborating with the plant, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure high customer satisfaction.  

  • Communicate with internal stake holders while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. 

  • Perform trade compliance activities including products classification, valuation, duty drawback, FTA application, bonded program management and Country of origin determination for import and export controls 

  • Ensure SOX compliance in revenue recognition with GR and GI.  

  • Inventory Management with excess, obsolete and scrap 

  • Oversee transportation and warehouse Quality management ( DPPM ) 

  • Support customers and coordinate customized logistics solutions including value added service 

  • Manage On Time shipment(OTS) performance for both Commit and Request date in SO and STO shipments  

  • Support external audits for ISO/QS certification and customer audits on quality and safety, implementing corrective actions as needed. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop procedures, programs and initiatives that drive Operational Excellence 

  • Manage global transportation according to DOT Certi, IATA, IMDG 

  • Operate 3PL distribution center with temperature control and Dangerous goods 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in the related logistics or Manufacturing environment and equivalent, preferable to Semi industry related 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field 

  • Strong knowledgeable of US and local Export & Import regulations, compliance requirements, and global freight handling with both air and ocean  

  • Strong business acumen with a process-driven mindset and a focus on customer intimacy. 

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, with strong presentation and facilitation skills. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English  

  • Bonded caretaker certification is a plus 

  • Up to 50% domestic travel
