Summary
Responsible for all stages of requirements gathering, delivery, and support of solutions that meet business needs leveraging Azure (Storage, Web Sites, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.), Microsoft 365 Collaboration suite (SharePoint, Groups, Power Platform, etc.), and other platforms and technologies. Also responsible for working with Data Analysts to develop methods of extracting data and creating data models for use with Power BI and other analytics tools. Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plays central role in leveraging Logicalis platforms including Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, partnering with business users providing guidance and support in implementing solutions.
Maintains excellent knowledge about existing Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Database and Data Structures (MS SQL, Cosmos DB) and emerging strategies and identifies, develops opportunities for their use and drives changes.
Provides thought leadership on best practices for solution design with understanding of Information Architecture functionality including site mapping, application integration, enterprise search, taxonomy, content classification and portal interaction on mobile platforms.
Elicits and analyzes business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams and converts business requirements into system functionality within an O365 and Azure hybrid framework.
Gathers initial requirements; develops milestones and sub-task plan; develops initial architecture and engineering design plan.
Analyzes feasibility and performs testing of new features as they become available.
Leads and mentors fellow developers.
Responds as Azure subject matter expert for complex user support questions.
Assists in development of training documentation and provides training as needed.
Works with Information Security team to ensure security standards are included, applied and maintained across all product sets within domain.
Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications
Equivalent combination accepted.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business, or equivalent experience.
Experience / Technical Requirements
8 years working as a developer in enterprise environment with experience including but not limited to:
C# and modern .NET (>= .NET 6), including dependency injection, async/await, and performance tuning
Building RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core (and familiarity with API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger, and security best practices)
Azure Functions (including Durable Functions) and Azure Logic Apps for integration and workflow automation
Messaging/eventing with Azure Service Bus (and familiarity with event-driven patterns; Event Grid/Event Hubs a plus)
Data access using EF Core and LINQ (including migrations and query optimization)
Relational data with Azure SQL / SQL Server, including schema design and T-SQL
NoSQL data with Azure Cosmos DB (or equivalent), including partitioning, throughput, and indexing concepts
Identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), app registrations, OAuth2/OIDC, and Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL)
Source control with Git (including pull-request based workflows)
CI/CD using Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions
Unit and integration testing with xUnit (or similar), including mocking and test automation in pipelines
4 years hands-on experience developing in Azure, Office 365, and the Power Platform.
Modern engineering practices including but not limited to:
Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and/or ARM Templates) and automated environment provisioning (resource groups, networking, identities, app configuration)
PaaS-first delivery on Azure: App Service (Web Apps/APIs), Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, and Azure Storage (Blob/Queue/Table)
Authentication/authorization using Managed Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, and least-privilege RBAC
Operational excellence and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, alerting, and dashboards
Secrets and key management with Azure Key Vault (and secure configuration/rotation practices)
Secure SDLC/DevSecOps: threat modeling, SAST/DAST, dependency scanning (SBOM a plus), and security gates in CI/CD
Release strategies for PaaS (deployment slots, staged rollouts, feature flags) and basic cost awareness (tagging, budgets, right-sizing)
Containers are optional: Docker and Azure Container Apps familiarity a plus (AKS not required)
Working knowledge of the following including but not limited to:
Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Enterprise administration basics (repos, branching, permissions)
Release and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags) and pipeline approval
Blazor (Server and WebAssembly) and/or modern web UI with React and TypeScript
Real-time and messaging patterns (SignalR; background workers)
Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Entra ID app registrations/permissions
SharePoint Online development with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) (classic add-in model familiarity a plus, but not required)
Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and environment governance concepts
Microsoft Teams extensibility (apps, webhooks/connectors) a plus
Experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite, and EDI/B2B a plus.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
