Collins Aerospace is seeking a talented Senior Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of Systems and Software engineers on their quest to develop modern Flight Management Systems for the war fighter. This Flight Management team develops software applications for numerous military Fixed Wing programs. Our functionality is primarily focused on aiding the crew in navigation, but we also support the aircraft maintainer. Examples of the functions we develop are flight management, flight planning, navigation, and guidance. In addition, we develop functions for Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) management, health monitoring & status and data load.
This team works in a collaborative environment and performs activities including requirements definition and analysis, design, development, integration, test, verification, validation, and certification of software products within our Flight2 architecture. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of systems and software development practices, Agile development methodologies, military/commercial certification, and experience leading execution teams.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
