JOB DESCRIPTION:
Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components. Complete complex bug fixes. Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve complex technical issues as necessary. Train entry-level software engineers as directed by department management, ensuring they are knowledgeable in critical aspects of their roles. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Design and work with complex data models. Mentor less-senior software developers on development methodologies and optimization techniques. Perform other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
5 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
Also required is:
5 years of experience: designing and developing interactive applications using HPCC Roxie including develop, unit testing, QC testing, deploy and Roxie queries release from different environments (Prod and CT Prod) in HPCC; developing HPCC Thor batch products, data engineering ETL process in Thor, data key built, Thor release and maintenance using HPCC Thor; demonstrating advanced understanding of the overall HPCC architecture, and the end-to-end data flow, including how applications such as Rules, MBSI, Database, Transaction ESPs are working with the HPCC system in order to provide product support on-call and incidents troubleshooting through transaction logs, and familiar with RiskXML and FW XML etc.; and in MySQL database and writing advanced query scripts for troubleshooting and generating complex interactive and batch transaction reports.
2 years of experience: with all the three credit bureau (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) data, their data format (eg: EDITs, FFF, ARF etc), and the bureau data flow; with ESP credit bureau gateways for the three main credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion); in quality control and automation testing, including designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases, including Account Setup by using MBSi tools; and creating test cases for both of HPCC ESP and HPCC Roxie in EDITS and XML format, eventually utilizing the BDD framework and customer assertion scripts in order to implement automation testing for HPCC Roxie Applications.
Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Alpharetta, GA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
Experience can be concurrent.
