As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain software systems that support OMIG’s investment processes and strategies. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure and high-performing solutions.

This role is well suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in an Agile environment and takes pride in building systems that others rely on.

What You’ll Be Trusted With

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the performance and security of our software.
• Participate in Agile development process including Scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Stay up to date with the latest development technologies and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.

Who you are

You are a technically strong, curious, and dependable engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and solving meaningful problems. You balance independent thinking with teamwork and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (mandatory).
• Strong programming skills in C# and experience with SQL.
• Experience in developing software in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing, and code reviews.
• Familiarity with asset management, investment management or similar industry is a plus.
