This role plays a critical part in delivering and supporting core banking capabilities by working across Mainframe Hogan platforms and SaaS based Zafin pricing and product processes. In this role, you will design, build, and support high impact solutions that sit at the heart of consumer banking, partnering closely with business, architecture, and downstream technology teams. You will lead moderately complex initiatives, contribute to strategic technical planning, and ensure reliable, compliant delivery across both legacy and modern platforms. This position requires strong technical depth, analytical thinking, and the ability to guide and mentor less experienced engineers in a highly regulated, 24/7 environment. You will be expected to balance stability and modernization, integrating Hogan core banking systems with Zafin SaaS capabilities through APIs and enterprise services, while adhering to Wells Fargo’s security, risk, and compliance standards.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments including Mainframe Hogan and SaaS Zafin integrations
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies supporting modernization and enterprise integration efforts
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of Hogan IDS experience: Extensive exposure to Hogan IDS deposit processing workflows and release activities, including supporting implementation readiness and coordinating production validation with team and cross‑functional partners
Proven experience designing and reviewing technical solutions in large‑scale, enterprise environments
Hands‑on experience with APIs and system integrations, particularly connecting and testing legacy platforms with modern SaaS solutions using Postman
Exposure to or experience with GenAI capabilities, including applying AI assisted tools or services to improve development efficiency or operational insights
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across multiple systems
Strong communication skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and train or mentor co‑workers

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00Benefits
