Location: London
Salary: £76,760 - £95,950

What you’ll be doing…
As a Backend Software Engineer, you’ll support the build of elegant, performant, maintainable, operable, and secure Golang microservices. The role is to support the integration of Curve into LBG and the launch of the Lloyds Wallet and Pi3 too.
You’ll help design and architect our systems, contribute to continuous improvement, and play a key role in making the engineering team the best it can be.
You’ll be delivering clean, architecturally sound and maintainable server-side code (and if you’ve got full-stack experience, that’s a definite plus). You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to build, measure and learn as you help shape a world-class product. You’ll partner with product and engineering managers to keep refining how we build and ship, and you’ll help the team push through roadblocks so features land as effectively as possible. Along the way, you’ll guide design discussions and help balance flexibility, speed, scalability and performance. You’ll also champion new technologies, promote strong development practices, and keep an eye on what’s coming next—proactively (but pragmatically) tackling technical debt.
