Job Title: - Senior Software Engineer

Location: - Bangalore

Business & Team: -

The role of Senior Software Engineers is to Design, Build, Run & Evolve tools, infrastructure, templates and capabilities that our other engineers use to deliver business value, and to write code that automates running our infrastructure and environments.

As a Principal Senior Software Engineer your key role in enhancing the scalability, reliability, and security of our identity and automation platforms. You will contribute to the delivery of complex automation and security initiatives across the organisation’s systems and infrastructure, supporting our mission to protect platforms, data, and digital assets across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

  • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices 
  • Take ownership of issues and follow through with end-to-end resolution of issues
  • Imbue a true DevSecOps mindset and approach. You build it, you secure it, you test it, and you run it 
  • Work with various application teams to ensure the stability and security of the cloud platform 
  • Have natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups 
  • Knowledge on cloud especially AWS is an added advantage 
  • Have a great understanding of software delivery practices and lifecycles in Agile methodologies 

Essential Skills :-

  • Candidates who have 8+ years of experience as a full stack developer.
  • Demonstrated experience developing applications using modern programming languages and frameworks, including Python, Java, React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript and database as PostgreSQL, SQL Server.
  • Sound knowledge of Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs 
  • Excellent debugging skills with ability to solve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal for building reliable, scalable distributed systems 
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines  
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code and automating manual tasks 
  • Mentoring and coaching capabilities, able to influence practices and mindsets in the crew  
  • Develop, lead, and deploy CI/CD strategies .
  • CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, TeamCity, octopus Deploy , Docker, Kubernetes
  • Logging & monitoring: CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus knowledge are desirable 
  • Automating repetitive tasks using Java, JS, Python, shell scripting, PowerShell etc. 
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems across the CI/CD toolchain.
  • Good hands-on Experience with testing automation tools Selenium, Playwright, API testing and JMeter or equivalent.
  • Cloud Technologies as AWS is nice to have skill.
  • Experience with IAM, security and/or access control applications (such as SailPoint IIQ or CyberArk ) is nice to have. 

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
