Join the Public Cloud / R&D Core team to build the foundational software that powers our hybrid and multi-cloud data management platform. In this role, you will design and implement the high-performance services that enable seamless deployment and lifecycle management across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will be part of a team that tackles the core challenges of scalability, security, and operational excellence in a truly global, multi-cloud environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will:

• Architect Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement robust backend components for our multi-cloud and hybrid data management platform.

• Develop Microservices: Build reliable, secure microservices using Java (and occasionally Go) to manage cluster provisioning and configuration.

• Integrate Cloud APIs: Build deep integrations with public cloud provider APIs to enable high-scale operations.

• Drive System Excellence: Lead design discussions, perform rigorous code reviews, and troubleshoot complex distributed services.

• Automate Everything: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to ensure high-velocity, low-risk releases.

• Own the Service: Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including production monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotations for the services you build.

We’re excited about you if you have:

• 3+ years of experience building distributed or cloud-based systems in a production environment.

• Java Mastery: Strong programming skills in Java (experience with Go is a significant plus).

• Systems Expertise: Solid knowledge of Linux, networking, virtual machines, and container technologies like Docker.

• Cloud Fluency: Practical experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP APIs and infrastructure automation concepts.

• DevOps Mindset: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and a proactive approach to monitoring and observability.

• Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive within a distributed R&D team.

• Education: BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
