The Role: Senior Software Developer (Oracle Cloud Techno-Functional)

Responsibilities and Impact:

Contribute significantly to the growth of the firm by:

  • Own end‑to‑end Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets processes include additions, retirements, transfers, adjustments, depreciation, and accounting across Corporate and Tax books.
  • Configure Fixed Assets modules including asset categories, depreciation methods, conventions, thresholds, lives, and book controls.
  • Lead Fixed Assets data conversions using FBDI/ADFDI for large‑scale asset loads, M&A activities, and statutory books.
  • Design and support BI Publisher reports for asset transactions.
  • Design, build, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations between FA and AP, GL, AR, Projects, and external systems.
  • Ensure operational excellence across AI platforms, including usability, availability, resiliency, observability, and security always.
  • Develop solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles, cloud best practices, and coding standards.
  • Work in Agile delivery teams, clearly articulating problem statements and AI‑driven solution recommendations with strong communication and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional cloud and enterprise teams, integrating with platforms such as ERP systems, ServiceNow, Workday, banks, and third‑party services.
  • Deliver within a defined scope, meeting project timelines and quality expectations for AI and cloud initiatives.
  • Share knowledge and best practices across teams to promote an efficient, innovation‑driven engineering culture.
  • Own deliverables end‑to‑end, supporting development, deployment, documentation, and post‑go‑live operations for seamless adoption.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive techno-functional experience in developing Oracle ERP Financial Cloud applications.
  • 4 to 7 years of expertise in Oracle ERP Financial Cloud application development leveraging Oracle PaaS tools, such as Visual Builder, Process Builder, Identity Cloud Services (IDCS), or Oracle Fusion ERP Adapters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the configuration and conversion of the Fixed Assets (FA) module, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with best practices.
  • Experienced in utilizing Oracle PaaS adapters for integration with Ariba, Banks, Concur, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
  • Familiar with Oracle Security Console functionality.
  • Knowledgeable in Agile project methodologies.
  • Experienced in estimating development effort accurately.
  • Competent in working with REST APIs, SOAP messaging, and integrating with other enterprise applications using Oracle PaaS.
  • Successfully completed at least one Oracle Fusion ERP techno-functional development and integration project employing Oracle Integration Cloud/PaaS.
  • Able to design technical solutions and develop code for complex requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of development environments and code deployment processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities (both verbal and written), with proficiency in articulating problems and recommending solutions to support sound design decisions.
  • Effective team player and adaptable to project needs and deliverable timelines.
  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or Accounting.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good to have experience in Oracle ERP Finance modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Tax, General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Advanced Global Intercompany Systems (AGIS), or Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve performance, scalability, reliability, and reusability, while reducing technical debt and operational costs using cloud‑native, serverless, and AI‑first architectures.
  • Exposure to Oracle AI Agentic Studio, AWS Bedrock and hands-on.
  • Expertise in accounting period closing activities and reconciliation of General Ledger with Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Portfolio Management, or other financial modules is considered advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Python is regarded as beneficial.
  • Familiarity with current technologies in automation, data analytics, DevOps, and APIs is highly valued.
  • Understanding Oracle Cloud development standards, guidelines, industry trends, and best practices across the IT enterprise is an asset.
  • Comprehensive experience in designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining user interfaces, reports, system integrations, conversions, extensions, and workflows is advantageous.
  • Certification in Oracle Cloud or equivalent credentials in relevant tools or technologies is preferred.
